Coaching & Training

What do we offer?

We offer more specialised training for our athletes five days a week during the Summer months (October to April). The training are run by our amazing coach, Amanda Goldsmith and some experienced parents.

  • Monday - High Jump (10+ years),  Speed Endurance

  • Tuesday - Speed Endurance

  • Wednesday - Club night

  • Thursdays - Speed and Starts

  • Fridays - Hurdles (12+ years) and Long Jump

There are mostly two sessions - younger ones (~7-10 years) starting after school and older ones 4:30/4:45ish.

Most trainings are at Grenada Park North. Except for Tuesdays and Friday which are held at Newtown Park.

We coordinate the trainings through Heja. Email us on to get a link for the Heja group.

There is a $50 season admin and equipment fee for athletes attending these trainings.p

Things to note

Times may vary in school holidays. Check Heja app for latest information and for cancellations.

You don't need to go to all the trainings - just pick the ones you want to go to.

Siblings can attend the same session (please contact Amanda to arrange).

Lots of fun training with others in a team environment with kids of all ages and abilities. We have training groups for everyone so don't worry if you're just starting out. Fantastic fitness training for your other summer and winter sports too. Check out our main Harriers site for more information on coaching and trainings.
