We’ve been reviewing our coaching sessions for the 2024/2025 season following Amanda's retirement. We’re pleased to announce that we have five sessions available.
There is a $50 season admin and equipment fee for athletes attending these trainings. This can be paid during enrollment or separately into our account.p
- Speed, Starts and Endurance: Tuesdays and Thursdays 4pm-5pm Grenada North Park, Coach Alistair Leslie
- High Jump: Tuesdays 5pm-6pm Grenada North Park, Coaches Holly, Tracey and Joe Robins
- Racewalking: Wednesdays 6.30pm-7.15pm Grenada North Park, Coach Rob McCrudden
- Throwing Discus/Shot Put: Mondays (start/time TBC) Grenada North Park, Coach Jen Ferguson
- Long Jump: Sundays 3pm-4pm (starting mid October) Newtown Park, Coach Narmali Boswell
Times may vary in school holidays. Check Heja app for latest information and for cancellations.
You don't need to go to all the trainings - just pick the ones you want to go to.
Siblings can attend the same session
Parent help is required at each session.
It is important to RSVP on the Heja app so we knows how many athletes are attending. You only RSVP if you are going, it is not essential to say you're not coming.

During the July to August we offer we also run a shorter version of our Summer training program. See our Heja group for more details.
Olympic has built up a strong middle distance group of runners who run track in the summer and cross country and road in the winter. Great training for the school cross country season. Lots of fun training with others in a team environment with kids of all ages and abilities. We have training groups for everyone so don't worry if you're just starting out.
